Vertical or Horizontal?

Abstract

In discussing current cases of vertical organization the following article builds on a comprehensive study of the subject which was sponsored by the Institute and the Tex tile Foundation in the late '30's. The report of this study, titled "Vertical Integration in the Textile Industries," was prepared by the Industrial Research Department, Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania from whom copies may be obtained at a special price of $1.00 per copy—address, 3440 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, 4, Pennsylvania.
