Treating Lyocell fibers with cellulases has become an indispensable step in dyeing and finishing these fibers, even though the effectiveness and influence of such treatment can only be evaluated qualitatively. This paper presents a quantitative evaluation of the effect of cellulases on Tencel fibers and studies the influence of initial concentration and treatment time. Results are then used to establish a mathematical model that relates the level of attack with concentration and time.
