Abstract

This book presents a rigorous and elaborated account of the concepts and practicalities of various methods used in mathematical modeling and computer simulation of dynamic biological systems. To facilitate understanding of those highly technical aspects, the author offers well-prepared coverage of relevant mathematical and biological concepts. The book allows the reader to gain a capability to build and analyze biomodels. It is also accompanied by very useful online materials that include solutions and program codes for examples and problems presented in the book. I’d highly recommend this book for adoption in systems biology courses and as a reference text for researchers in this area.
