Abstract
Phyllis Fagell offers advice to teachers dealing with workplace challenges. One teacher’s school is facing staff shortages during COVID. Teachers who are sick with colds, but not COVID, are coming to work because so many staff members have tested positive for COVID, despite feeling well. Another teacher wants to know how to help a student whose insecurity and immaturity are leading him to tell lies, disrupt class, and cheat.
