A construct language is developed. It is shown how some psychological phenomena, such as emotion and motivation, can be discussed and analyzed non-metaphorically by its use. As a result of the non-metaphorical concern with fundamental processes, the viewpoint presented should be productive of better research than is currently being done in many areas of psychology.
