32 Ss were shown a simple stimulus, projected onto a ground glass screen, and were then asked to match a mental image of the stimulus with a figure constructed by them on the screen and to rate the vividness of their image. Si who imaged vividly reproduced the original inspection figure more accurately than Ss who did not image vividly.
