Abstract
Agriculture, water, and climate represent intertwined challenges central to sustainable development, particularly in Africa, where climate change, resource constraints, and food insecurity pose significant threats. The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) has adopted an innovative Agriculture, Water, and Climate (AWC) Strategy (2023–2030) and established the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES) to address these challenges in Morocco and Africa. This paper outlines the needs driving the AWC strategy, its overarching aims, and the challenges of implementation. It highlights the integration of multidisciplinary research, education, and innovation, focusing on sustainable solutions for food security, resource management, and climate resilience across Africa.
