Abstract
What went well in the lesson? I don't think much of it did. I wasn't happy with my lesson. I couldn't get the right questions. My questions were good and I got them thinking. They came up with lots of great ideas and they're thinking about the dialect and how people speak and why that's important. I don't think they ever got to what I really wanted, that it aids in the reading and makes it more interesting. And that's what I wanted, just to give myself one question in my notes to say, that's the one, that's the one that will get them to find the answer.
