Abstract
A microcomputer-based simulation has been developed to as sist elementary teachers-in-training to acquire fundamental feedback, time-management, and behavior-management class room skills. Skill acquisition is promoted via powerful reinforce ment, prompting, and feedback training aids. The simulation's instructional value has been clearly demonstrated by results obtained from several applications involving entry-level educa tion students. Current efforts are being made to insure that skills acquired during the computer training transfer to real schoolrooms.
