Successful interactions with individuals of different backgrounds necessitates adjustment to and awareness of myriad cultural perspectives, attitudes, and be haviors. Cross-cultural training has demonstrated the ability to bring about change in people's cognitions, affective reactions, and behavior. A newly devel oped culture-general assimilator is intro duced as a tool for use by teacher educators.
