Abstract
Edward C. Pomeroy, executive secretary, American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, holds a bachelor of arts degree from American International College, Springfield, Massachusetts; a master of arts and a doctor of education from Teachers College, Columbia Univer sity; and a Litt.D. from Trenton State Col lege, Trenton, New Jersey.
Mr. Pomeroy was assistant to the presi dent, American International College, 1939-43. From 1943-46, he served as supply officer in the U.S. Navy. He spent the years 1946-49 in graduate study, and in 1949, he became assistant to the general secretary, Teachers College, Columbia Uni versity. He was appointed associate secre tary of the American Association of Col leges for Teacher Education in 1951 and assumed his present position in 1953.
