Abstract
Articles in this section are the answers of out standing educational leaders to three questions sent out by the JOURNAL OF TEACHER EDUCATION during the past summer:
1. What are the one or two most significant developments of the past twenty-five years in relation to the education of teachers and the improvement of standards of the pro fession ?
2. What seems to you to be one or two or three of the most pressing unsolved prob lems that we face today in teacher educa tion?
3. What is your present speculation as to what the world of teacher education will be like in twenty-five years?
Each article has been arranged under three headings: Significant Developments, Unsolved Problems, and Looking Twenty-Five Years Ahead.
