Abstract
This is the second installment of a three-part article, the first part of which appeared in the June issue under the title, "The Foreign Student: General Pro file and Perceptions." Parts III and IV, entitled "Theoretical Considerations" and "Recommendations," will appear in the December issue. The complete article is appearing in the JOURNAL through the courtesy of the Council on Social Work Education, who will publish it this fall as a part of a report entitled STRANGERS IN OUR MIDST: THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF STUDENTS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. The report is being prepared by Irwin T.
