Abstract
Who should sponsor high-school extra- curricular activities? How should they be prepared, at the preservice level, for this important educational responsibility? Dr. Sterner, Assistant Professor, School of Education, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, has undertaken a study of conditions relative to this problem in the high schools of New Jersey, and in this article presents a challenging pro posal for a teacher-education program.
