Abstract
Few people in the United States under stand the learning-teaching process in the elementary school as well as does Mr. Wheat, Professor of Education at West Virginia University. Emphatic in his be liefs and gifted in the stating of them, he outlines a proposed curriculum for the preparation of the elementary-school teacher which will produce much con structive thinking on the part of those who study its full implications.
