Abstract
The use of audio-visual tools and pro cedures has lagged in American schools, largely because of the neglect of this area in the education of teachers. Mr. Brooker is Chief, Visual Aids to Education, Office of Education, Federal Security Agency. For some of the material of this article he has drawn upon the findings of a con ference recently conducted by the United States Office of Education.
