Abstract
It is hoped that this section of THE JOURNAL OF TEACHER EDUCATION may be developed to be come a verbal mirror of major events and developments in teacher education, both at the national level and state by state. To that end, a nationwide corps of correspondents is being established. Contribu tions and suggestions will be appreciated by the editors.
