Abstract
The purpose of this study was to compare development of listening skills in three groups of learning disabled (LD) and educable mentally retarded (EMR) children using Science Research Associates (SRA) Listening Skills Tapes — Level IIA, Intermediate, Group Alpha received token reinforcement plus teacher enrichment; Group Beta received only token reinforcement; Group Gamma received no token reinforcement and no teacher enrichment. Results of the study indicate that the group receiving the double reinforcement exhibited modified auditory behaviors on the SRA post-test as compared to pretest scores.
