Abstract
The 5th International Conference of the Association for Children with Learning Disabilities was held in Boston, Massachusetts, February 1-3, 1968. The theme for this year's conclave was SUCCESSFUL PROGRAMS AND THE PEOPLE WHO STAFF THEM. The participants heard keynote addresses by Dr. Leon Eisenberg, Chief Psychiatric Service, Massachusetts General Hospital; Dr. Corrine Kass, Coordinator, Inter-related Areas and Learning Disorders, U. S. Office of Education, Department of Health, Education and Welfare; and Dr. Carroll F. Johnson, Superintendent of Schools in White Plains, New York. Probably one of the best organized conferences A.C.L.D. has ever held, participants were able to select a particular subject of interest from a choice of nine and follow the chosen subject throughout all three days of the conference, thus achieving a complete overview.
