Abstract
In this article Austin Hukins, Journal of Christian Education Business Manager, leads the reader around the ‘backrooms’ of the publishing, subscription and promotion aspects of JCE through its history. He details the challenges faced sustaining the journal over the years, the close links between JCE and its sponsoring organisation Australian Teachers' Christian Fellowship (ATCF)/Australian Christian Forum on Education (ACFE), and the transition to the new International Journal of Christianity and Education.
