Abstract
The history of the Journal of Christian Education (JCE) can not be fully understood without recognising its relationship to the Australian Teachers' Christian Fellowship (ATCF, later Australian Christian Forum on Education—ACFE), and teachers' Christian fellowships (TCFs) in several Australian states. This article details those links, with an overview of the development of the ATCF and the TCFs, especially in Victoria and New South Wales.
