There has been some recent changes in UK government policy with greater government intervention emphasising the delivery of public services that reflect efficiency, effectiveness and economic benefit. A second policy concern has been the safeguarding of children. Such policy concerns have impacts on church school education and reduce the appreciated benefits following the Dearing era. In such changing contexts how might church schools face these challenges?
