Abstract
Technology today offers to modify human beings in order to enhance intelligence or extend lifespans, perhaps even to create a new human species. How are we to think eschatologically about the short-term future that technology is fashioning? Christian eschatology must start to take human transformation via technology into account when it speaks of the last things and of the promise of God to unite all things in Christ.
