In this research article, an attempt has been made to understand the impact of international reserve hoardings of India on the trinity choices of Indian economy. The Johansen cointegration technique is applied in the quadrilemma analysis to know the impact of international reserves on trinity choices of India for 1980–2020. It has been found that international reserves are helping in improving the trinity choices of India in the form of quadrilemma by entering as the fourth dimension. However, when reserves work as the interaction variable with all three trinity variables, they invalidate the international trinity hypothesis.
