HEALTH education per se is subject to many vicissitudes, not least that every person having concern with it, be it on five minutes or fifty years acquaintance, immediately develops a "theory" about it. Indeed, the subject is so nebulous in many ways that almost anyone, given just the title, can gather up a few random thoughts and put them together in an apparently reasoned exposition in a few minutes. In a nutshell "health education" is similar to "religion" or "politics". Everyone has a view, often quite intractable. Discussion and argument is inexhaustable and usually—as with the other two debatable subjects—ultimately sterile.
