Stanford-Binet results for 36 gifted children of preschool age were classified into categories according to Guilford's Structure-of-Intellect
(SI)
model. Four of five operations categories were considered and the levels
of
relative magnitude between the different factors compared. Also examined were changes within the same factor over a two year span. Greatest variability b etween SI
factors occurred at younger age groups. Three factors showed a relative decline over the two year test span despite steady Stanford-Binet IQ levels.
