This article presents a study evaluating a measure of adaptive functioning designed for school use—the Classroom Adaptive Behavior Checklist. Normative data from almost 1,300 subjects in kindergarten through sixth grade and satisfactory psychometric data are presented (test-retest reliability, concurrent validity with Walker Problem Behavior Checklist, discriminant validity between normals and special education groups).
