Abstract
THE following is an excerpt from a speech given by JOHN J. LEE, Wayne University, at the regional meeting of the INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL FOR EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN at Nashville, Tennessee, October 11, 1955. It deals with a problem in which we are all interested and one that has a great deal of importance in planning educational programs for exceptional children. Many people have felt for some time that a great deal more research is required and this excerpt deals with this problem:
