Perspectives on Deinstitutionalization: A Survey of the members of the National association of superintendents of Public Residential Facilities for the Mentally Retarded
The members of the National Association of Superintendents of Public Residential Facilities for the Mentally Retarded were surveyed on a number of issues related to deinstitutionalization. Opinions were received from slightly more than 73% of the superintendents on the feasibility of deinstitutionalization cost-benefit issues, service perspectives, and support for deinstitutionalization.
