Abstract
The investigation was divided into two parts. The first part utilized 90 retarded subjects to determine the relationship between M.A., IQ, and auditory discrimination. The second part focused upon effects of training to enhance discrimination. From the original 90 S's, 32 were randomly selected and placed in a program and the remaining S's used as control. The results were clear and straightforward. Auditory discrimination is directly related to mental maturity, but can be enhanced.
