Abstract
An apparently female child was found to have ambiguous genitalia with an enlarged phallus. The sex chromatin was negative. Cultured leuko cytes showed XY karyotype. At laparotomy, a uterus with normal fallopian tubes was found. An intra-abdominal testis on one side and a streak gonad on the other side were also detected, and confirmed by histologic studies.
