Abstract
A-efficient proper block designs for estimating blank and intersection contrasts are obtained for slope ratio assays. It turns out that a non-equireplicate design is more efficient than the best equireplicate design, whenever an equireplicate design is feasible. Some Aefficient designs are tabulated.
