Acute appendicitis is a common pediatric surgical problem. Management of acute appendicitis in immunocompromised children is a clinical challenge. This case study discusses the management of acute appendicitis with a laparoscopic appendectomy in a 13-year-old male 21 days after unrelated umbilical cord blood transplant with urgent laparoscopic appendectomy without complication.
