Abstract

The Journal is highly fortunate to be served by a distinguished Editorial Board, whose diligence and discernment in the review process contribute greatly to the Journal's success. The following members of the Editorial Board are stepping down after several years of distinguished service. These include: Wolf-Dieter Heiss (Deputy Chief Editor), Nicolas Bazan, Lester Drewes, Joseph Fenstermacher, Vladimir Hachinski, Anker Hansen, Harold Kimeiberg, Georg Kreutzberg, Gian-Luigi Lenzi, Olle Lindvall, Alan Lockwood, John Mazziotta, Brian Meldrum, William Pardridge, Olaf Paulson, James Prichard, Martin Reivich, Carolyn Smith, and K. M. A. Welch. On behalf of the Directors and the entire membership of the International Society of Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism, I wish to express our deep appreciation and gratitude to these individuals for their distinguished service.
I wish, also, to welcome the newly appointed members of the Editorial Board. Ulrich Dirnagl joins the Board as a Deputy Chief Editor. Other appointees include: Pak Chan, Michael Chopp, Frank Faraci, Kirk Frey, Yasuo Fukuuchi, Joel Greenberg, Karl Herholz, Chung Hsu, Costantino Iadecola, Martin Ingvar, Marika Kiessling, Iwao Kanno, David Lust, Maiken Nedergaard, Walter Obrist, Kathleen Schmidt, Arne Schousboe, Richard Traystman, and Steven Warach. Carol Petito, already a member of the Editorial Board, will now serve as an Assistant Editor in Miami.
