The initial scientific session of the 2024 Annual Meeting of the American Thyroid Association began with a “Year in Review” presentation of selected published research advances in the thyroid field. This video is the presentation by Jennifer Sipos focusing on the clinical research in thyroidology. The lecture specifically examines the medical literature in seven categories: artificial intelligence, autoimmunity, thyroid cancer, thyroid function, thyroid nodules, pediatrics, and pregnancy. Within each category, several articles were “nominated,” and one featured paper was discussed in greater depth based on its originality, clinical impact, and/or strong methodology.
