Abstract
This paper describes the process for the development of a mathematical model for an in situ uranium leaching method. A phased modelling process in MATLAB is conducted from the injection well to the ore body and from the ore body to the extraction well. Then a parametric identification of the injection and extraction wells is made, as well as the ore body itself. In addition, the hydraulic-resistance dependence of the bottom-hole zone on the flow rate of an injected solution in an injection well is determined and a technique is suggested for determination of the flow-pressure characteristics of the extraction well.
