The Spanish Heritage Education Observatory (SHEO) comprises two successive R&D&I projects whose goal is to trace, sort through, inventory, analyse and evaluate heritage education programmes produced both in Spain and in the international sphere from 2000 up to the present moment. In terms of research and knowledge transfer, SHEO’s main result has been its integration into the National Education and Heritage Plan — a specific programme devoted to heritage education research and heritage teaching innovation.
