In the preceding article, Rosemary Righter brought the story of UNESCO's attempts to bring about a ‘New World Information Order’ up to the Acapulco conference in January this year. Dana Bullen, former Foreign Editor of the Washington Star newspaper, now Executive Director of the World Press Freedom Committee, attended the conference and here he describes what took place.
