Abstract
On 30 July 1975 the Managing Director of Reuters, Gerald Long, sent a letter to the Soviet Foreign Minister, Andrei Gromyko, protesting against the harassment of foreign correspondents in Moscow. We are publishing the text of the letter, as well as the appendix - an article in the Moscow Literary Gazette attacking a Scandinavian journalist.
