Abstract
By a strange coincidence, soon after the spring number of Index appeared with the answers of our boycott questionnaire, the Arts and Review Section of the New York Sunday Times published an article on the same subject by their staff writer. Jack Slater (29 June 1975). Mr Slater's article was based on an interview with the black South African director of the African Music and Drama Association in Johannesburg, whose views are so relevant to the boycott theme that we here reprint the article in full.
