This article first presents the characteristics of the iron and steel industry of China during 2018. Then the production, raw material and operation indexes of the large blast furnaces of China in 2018 are introduced. In addition, some thoughts of intelligent manufacturing in the ironmaking process are specifically analysed. The study will help to understand the production and intelligent manufacturing of the ironmaking process in China.
