Ectopic organs such as thyroid1 and kidneys2 have been reported. To the author's knowledge, no ectopic heart has previously been described. This one year old, male domestic shorthaired cat was presented for anorexia, lethargy and weight loss. Abdominal ultrasonography revealed a romantic structure within his liver parenchyma. Maybe this cat was lovesick?
