Paper Submission
Articles should be submitted in electronic form, as e-mail attachments to stevenjzweiglaw@gmail.com.
Please specify in the text of the e-mail the word processing format used in creating the manuscript. Microsoft Word is preferred.
Use of English Language
All submissions must be in English. Appropriate use of English is a requirement for review and publication in Biotechnology Law Report. Authors seeking assistance with English language editing, translation, or figure and manuscript formatting to fit the journal’s specifications should consider using Sage Author Services. Please note that employing the use of such services is not mandatory and using it, or any other language editing service, does not guarantee the acceptance of any paper. All submissions are subject to peer review.

Using Blue Book format, please generate footnotes cited by superscript reference numerals throughout the text. We reserve the right to modify style to conform to the Journal’s overall style. Suggested readings or lists of other source materials may also be included in a final footnote.
Permissions
The author must obtain permission to reproduce from any copyrighted material. Written permission must be obtained from the original copyright holder (generally the publisher) of the journal or book concerned. An appropriate credit line and copyright notice should be included and a full citation should be included in the reference list.
There are currently no mandatory fees to publish in Biotechnology Law Report.

Biotechnology Law Report offers a number of optional ways to increase the impact of your published work:
Figures submitted in color will be published in color in the online version of the journal at no cost. If you wish to have color figures in the printed version, the following fees apply: $800 for first image in print; $200 for subsequent color print images.
Optional open access publishing is available for a fee via the Sage Choice program, and Open Access agreements, where authors can publish open access either discounted or free of charge depending on the agreement with Sage. Open Access agreement eligibility is determined by the corresponding author’s affiliation matching an agreement at acceptance.
