Publication in the journal is subject to payment of an article processing charge (APC). The APC serves to support the journal and ensures that articles are freely accessible online in perpetuity under a Creative Commons license.

The article processing charge (APC) for this journal is currently $3000 USD (+VAT where applicable); Brief Report APCs are $2400, Commentaries are $1800, and Original Article (Technical Edit), Research Article (Technical Edit) and Technical Note APCs are $4000.
