Journal of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Rehabilitation (JOTR) is a peer-reviewed open access journal that focuses on the latest trends and advances in orthopaedics, trauma, orthopaedic rehabilitation and related knowledge from all countries. Please see the Aims and Scope tab for further information.

This journal is the official publication of Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association (HKOA) and the Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons (HKCOS).

This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Open access article processing charge (APC) information

From January 1^st 2024, Journal of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Rehabilitation will be charging an APC. Any new submissions made from this date will be asked to pay the APC if acceptance for publication. This APC covers the cost of publication and ensures that your article will be freely available online in perpetuity under a Creative Commons licence.

The APC for this journal is $1500 USD.

If the paying party is based in the European Union, to comply with European law, value added tax (VAT) must be added to the APC. Providing a VAT registration number will allow an institution to be exempt from paying this tax, except for UK institutions.
