Cardiovascular and Thoracic Open is an international, open access, peer-reviewed, online-only journal publishing research from around the world pertaining to cardiovascular and thoracic medicine. Its mission is to provide a platform for rapid publication for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons, cardiologists, and allied health care professionals from anywhere in the world to discuss the diagnoses and treatment of cardiovascular and thoracic diseases.

*If the paying author/institution is based in the European Union, to comply with European law, value added tax (VAT) must be added to the APC. Providing a VAT registration number will allow an institution to be exempt from paying this tax, except for UK institutions. Payments can be made in GBP or USD.
