Abstract
The Royal Academy of Engineering sponsored a one-week Summer School for new teachers of engineering design. The paper discusses the teaching objectives and syllabus of the Summer School and the issues raised and discussed during the week's activities. The intention is that the points discussed in this paper will be valuable for all involved in the education and training of designers.
