Abstract
An innovative method to teach undergraduate courses in high-voltage test technology is presented in this paper. The method splits the impulse voltage test into two parts; one is the traditional physical way for high-voltage measurement, and the other is software simulation on a virtual platform. The virtual platform is designed with macromedia and programmed with C language. Probability theories have been introduced to establish its mathematic model. Then verification is presented of the validity of the simulation.
