A simple low-cost system used to coat a microwave substrate with photoresist ink is presented. This system allows engineering students to build their own microwave circuits with simple photolithographic techniques. Masks printed with a general-purpose laser printer are used to make circuits which can operate at frequencies up to the microwave spectrum.
