Abstract
A circuit is described which enables measurements of the parameters on the secondary side of a loosely coupled transformer to be made using only measurements of voltage and current on the primary side. The actual application is for a case when the primary and secondary cores of the transformer are separated by a (stainless steel) barrier. This is done by novel manipulation of electric and magnetic circuit equations of transformers and, therefore, is considered to have educational value.
